Kia Ora! My name is Maddie and I joined the Wigram Vet family in 2024 after moving to Christchurch. 

I grew up in Lower Hutt and the Wairarapa, where I have been working in vet clinics since I was 15 years old. I have always had a surplus of cats, particularly gingers, gaining me an “orange cat hoarder” reputation. Now I am a mum to just one little grey rascal, Obi. 

I look to expand my knowledge and love for veterinary science in my role here as receptionist, and potentially look to go to vet school in the not so distant future.
