Jonathan Busch Veterinarian
Jonathan graduated from Massey University in 2006 and after spending a few years in mixed practice in New Zealand and overseas, found his main interest is in helping companion animals. He has been working in Christchurch since 2011 and became part of the team at Wigram Vet in 2022
Jonathan enjoys the wide variety and opportunities to help patients and clients, especially in preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
When not working he will be spending time with his family and 2 boys, and when not doing that will be running, mountain biking or spending time in the Canterbury backcountry.
David Joubert Veterinarian
David has had a passion for animals from a young age. Born in South Africa, he grew up having 14 pets at one stage, including 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 tortoises, 2 breeding pairs of lovebirds, a rabbit, a hamster and 2 fish as well as an aquarium full of tadpoles turning into frogs.
It can be easy to see why becoming a veterinarian was the obvious vocation choice! David graduated in 2019 from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. He has worked as a companion animal veterinarian in semi-rural Western Australia before moving to New Zealand with his wife late 2022.
